Finding of sintering temperature condition for GdBa2Cu3O7-x
Abstract

This paper is studied on the suitable sintering temperature condition for GdBa2Cu3O7-x high-temperature superconductor fabrication. This is the newest superconducting material in Thailand. The fabrication process is the same easy process as YBa2Cu3O7-x superconductor in Superconductor Laboratory, Electronic Research Center, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut 's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). It's found that the suitable temperature for sintering GdBa2Cu3O7-x superconductor is 930°C. By this suitable process, GdBa2Cu3O7-x can be characterized the best properties of high-temperature superconducting material. Such as critical current density (Jc) about 21.14 A/cm2 and critical temperature is 85.4 K.
