Magnetic Effect on Ceramic Type Superconductor
Abstract

This Thesis proposes the production process and testing the fundamental characteristics of one type of a superconductor, to study the effects of themagnetic field in the superconductor such as constant magnetic field, time dependent magnetic field etc. The effects of the magnetic field can be explained by macrostructure model of HTSC. The other characteristics like the I-V characteristic are also explained. The I-V characteristic is measured by applying bias current to a superconductor in the magnetic field. During the study of the superconductor, the full wave rectification phenomenon was observed. The experiment was carried out at the Electronic Research Center at the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
