Dr. Stanislav S.Makhanov, Scientific Biography
Dr.Stanislav S. Makhanov received the M.Sc degree
in applied mathematics from the Moscow State University(1981) and the Dr.Sc.
degree in Applied Mathematics from the Computer Center of the Russian
Academy of Science(1988). From 1981 to 1994 he worked at the Computer Center
of the Russian Academy of Science as Research Fellow, Assistant Professor
and Associate professor. From 1994 to 1999 he worked at the King
Mongkut's Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang(Thailand) as Visiting Professor
and at the Asian Institute of Technology as Associated Faculty Member.
Dr. S. S. Makhanov has published more than 30 research papers
in Computational Fluid Dynamics, Civil Engineering and Robotics.
He is currently Associate Professor at the Sirindhorn International Institute
of Technology(Thailand). His present research interest includes new numerical
methods for Computational Fluid Dynamics, Robotics and Image Processing.
