The International Conference on Control, Automation, and Systems - ICCAS is the annual event, bringing together researchers, engineers and practitioners in the areas of control, automation,and systems, to present latest progress and future directions in these exciting engineering disciplines. The conference has been regularly organized by the Institute of Control, Automations, and Systems Engineers (ICASE), Korea. For the first time, ICCAS 2004 will be organized and held outside the Republic of Korea. The city of Bangkok, Thailand, has been chosen as the venue for this important occasion. The venue chosen for ICCAS 2004 is the Shangri-La Hotel, beside Chaopaya River, and oppositing Wat Arun - "The Temple of Dawn".
