iDevelopers Training Course: Learning application development on iOS devices
The International College ran the iDevelopers training course, a weekend course for general audience which trained the participants on the development of applications on iOS devices (such as iPhones and iPads) from the ground up. The course was taught by the staff of the International Software Engineering program and experienced developers in the Intelligent Communication and Transportation Lab, KMITL. The course was held every weekend from 7 May to 29 May 2011 (32 hours in total).
TOT Plc. and UStore by EITS were the main sponsors of this training course.

Talks by Prof. David Watt, University of Glasgow, at British Council and KMITL
Prof. David Watt from the School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow, visited the International College on 28 January 2011 and gave a talk on the undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the School of Computing Science to the interested students in KMITL. Prof. Watt also had a chance to answer questions from the students in the SE program who were interested to join the KMITL-Glasgow 2+2 program.
On 29 January 2011, Prof. David Watt and Asst. Prof. Visit Hirankitti gave a talk to the public audience at the Bristish Council Bangkok (in Siam Square) introducing the School of Computing Science, the University of Glasgow, and the KMITL-Glasgow 2+2 Software Engineering program.

Visit by the University of Glasgow officials to discuss joint program
The International College was very pleased to welcome representatives from the University of Glasgow, UK, led by Prof. David Watts. The meeting was conducted to initiate an academic collaboration between KMITL and Glasgow University for the software engineering programme. The two universities are currently working on a joint program in which students in the SE program may choose to take courses in years 3 and 4 at the University of Glasgow.
Founded in 1451, the University of Glasgow is one of the oldest universities in the UK. The university was home to six Nobel laureates.
