Bachelor of Engineering Program in Software Engineering
(International Program)
The International Software Engineering Program at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) is a Bachelor-degree program in software engineering, which aims at producing skilled software engineers who are capable of working confidently in the international software industry as well as pursuing postgraduate study in leading universities abroad. The program is the first English-language undergraduate course in Thailand which specializes exclusively in software engineering, the fastest growing field in computing. As you may know, KMITL has long been recognized as one of the best universities in engineering education and research in Thailand. Graduates from this program will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering.
Collaboration with University of Glasgow
The University of Glasgow (United Kingdom) is one of the oldest universities in the world, and has been ranked as one of the world's top 100 universities. With its long history in advanced research, the University of Glasgow has been home to six Nobel-prize winners. The University's Department of Computing Science has consistently been ranked in the UK's top 10 in computing.
Recently, KMITL and University of Glasgow have collaborated on a new joint study option which enables qualified students who have completed Year 2 in the Software Engineering program at KMITL to transfer their studies in Years 3 and 4 to the Department of Computing Science at Glasgow University. Students will join the highly-successful Software Engineering program at Glasgow and have an opportunity to study with world renowned academics, as well as working on team projects with multi-national talents. Graduates from this joint study program will obtain a Bachelor degree in Software Engineering from the University of Glasgow. We believe this study option provides a new channel for students who would like to study abroad.

Curriculum
- Year 1 and Year 2
- Courses are held at the International College in the Ladkrabang Campus of KMITL
- Year 3 and Year 4
- Option 1
Continue the study at the International College, KMITL. The students who have completed Year 4 of the program at KMITL will be awarded the B.Eng. degree in Software Engineering from KMITL.
- Option 2 (KMITL - Glasgow Joint Study Program)
Any student who has completed Year 2 with the GPA of at least 3.25 and the IELTS score of at least 6.5 (with no subtest below 6.0) may choose to continue his/her study in Year 3 and Year 4 in the BSc Software Engineering program at the Department of Computing Science, University of Glasgow, UK. The students who have completed Year 4 in this program will receive the BSc Honours Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Glasgow. Also, qualified students who have completed Year 4 may study one more year (Year 5) and obtain the MSci degree in Software Engineering from the University of Glasgow.

- Tuition fee at KMITL: THB 67,000 per semester
- Tuition fee at Glasgow University: GBP 11,200 per year
