Thai - German Double Degree Program
Study 2 years and earn 2 full degrees (Weekend Part-Time Program)
In the modern industrial working world engineers and scientists have to take over more and more responsibilies for which their Bachelor done studies did not prepare them well enough. These responsibilities are mainly related to Business Administration e.g. Project Management, Project Financing, Controlling etc. and Environmental Management such as Waste Management, Resource Management, Environmental Technology and Regulations etc. The
international MBA program "International Management of Resources and
Environment (IMRE)" was founded in 1999 at the Technische University
Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany, to provide graduates with a Bachelor
degree in the various fields of science, engineering and related fields
with a technical background state-to-the-art knowledge and experience
in Business Administration and Environmental Management.
Since then more than 150 students from over 33 countries have graduated from this program. In 2005 the TU Bergakademie Freiberg and the King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) decided to offer this program also in Thailand parallel to the German program as the first Thai-German Double Degree Program. Students who register at the International College of KMITL for this Double Degree Program and study successfully at least 1 semester at our partner university, the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, will receive both, a full M.Sc. degree from KMITL and a full MBA degree from TU Bergakademie Freiberg. This program offers a unique opportunity for students not only from Asia to study at two locations and earn two full degrees. |
