Applicant Qualifications

The following criteria are applied when considering an applicant for admission to the program:

• An undergraduate degree in applied science, engineering, or related fields.
• Applicants with degree in non-related fields may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Evidence of English proficiency should be submitted for consideration.

Tuition Fees

The tuition is 75,000 THB per semester. All students will be accommodated to study at TU, Germany for one semester with no additional tuition required.

Question:
Do I get two full degrees or do I get a joint degree certificate?
Answer:
Since this is a full double degree program, you will receive a full M.Sc. degree from KMITL and a separate full MBA degree from the TU Bergakademie Freiberg if you pass the respective graduation requirements.

Question:
I graduated from a field that is not related to one of these subjects. Can I still apply?
Answer:
If you did not graduate from an undergraduate program in applied science, engineering, or related fields, but are working in a field that is related to technology and have working experience in this field, you can apply for the program. The decision whether your application will be accepted will then be done on a case by case basis by the program committee.

Question:
Do I have to go to Germany or can I study the whole program at KMITL only?
Answer:
You have to study at least one semester (second semester from October to February) at TU Bergakademie Freiberg and pass their exams to get both degrees. If you want to study longer in Germany you can extend by one more semester.

Question:
If I do not pass the exams in Germany, can I still graduate?
Answer:
If you do not pass the exams in Freiberg but pass all graduation requirements at KMITL, you will still receive the KMITL M.Sc. degree.

Question:
Do I need German language knowledge for this program?
Answer:
No. The program at KMITL as well as at TU Bergakademie Freiberg are conducted in English. During your stay at TU Freiberg, you will have to study one course in German language as part of the program.
